Our Story
Welcome to 24 South (formerly Bushell’s), the waterside spot where the food is fresh, the wine flows freely, and dogs are always welcome (encouraged, actually).
We’re a proud family-run business, and that means two things: we care deeply about what we do, and someone’s probably arguing about the playlist in the kitchen. It also means we’re all hands-on, whether it’s flipping pizzas, sourcing the juiciest local ingredients, or chatting to customers like they’re old friends.
Our menu is full of the best local produce we can get our hands on. Think mouth-watering seafood, just-picked veg, delicious homemade desserts, and succulent meats. But when it comes to pizza bases? We leave that to the pros. Our bases are imported straight from Italy – because, let’s be honest, no one does it better. Nonna would approve.
We’re not into stiff tablecloths or fussy fine dining gear. We’re all about laid-back vibes, seriously good food, and soaking up the view. Whether you’re popping in for a lazy lunch, a sunset dinner, or just a cheeky cocktail by the water, there’s a seat, and maybe a dog treat, waiting for you. Enjoy the best view in town, from a cosy spot inside or out on our chic riverside patio.
